Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi conducted an online meeting with SHOs of the Islamabad Police. The meeting was attended by all police stations SHOs.Addressing the officers, IGP Islamabad gave clear directives stating that all SHOs should always be available for the citizens. He emphasized that if any complainant visits the police station the relevant officer must maintain an exemplary attitude towards them.Furthermore, all officers should personally patrol their areas and ensure the security of markets and masjids along with actions against criminal elements in the federal capital should be expedited.He also mentioned that modern technology should be employed to improve the quality of investigations. He urged the optimal use of current resources to enhance performance.He stressed taking concrete measures for crime prevention and effective security in the city. Additionally, the performance of all patrolling units should be improved and made more effective. Officers should also take steps for the welfare of their subordinates to improve their morale, he added.He further said that the primary goal of Islamabad Police is to ensure the protection of the lives and property of the capital residents along with maintaining law and order and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
