CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa Meets with P3A CEO Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan and KPMG Consultants

Islamabad: Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, held a meeting at the CDA Headquarters with Public Private Partnership Authority (P3A)’s Chief Executive Officer, Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, and the consultants from KPMG. The meeting was also attended by CDA board members and other relevant senior officers. During the meeting, comprehensive discussions were held regarding the revitalization and optimal utilization of the Gandhara Citizen Club building. Chairman CDA stated that the Gandhara Citizen Club building would be made operational following its renovation and refurbishment. He also emphasized that, alongside the club building, the work would begin on the uplift and upgradation of F-9 Park. Chairman CDA stressed that KPMG would provide support in developing the best financial and operational model for the Gandhara Citizen Club Building. He further added that the revenue generated from the Gandhara Citizen Club would be utilized for the improvement of F-9 Park and on the public welfare. To promote the hospitality industry in Islamabad, Chairman CDA asked KPMG to prepare a feasibility report for the construction of five-star hotels. During the briefing, it was revealed that a formal market study for the construction of five-star hotels has already been initiated.
