Sahiwal (Bureau Chief) Religious leader Bishop Abraham Azeem Daniel Sahiwal said in his statement,
A petition was filed in the Lahore High Court by Ms. Quratul Ain Work (Advocate High Court) to resolve the long-standing problem of minority students. The High Court summoned the Secretary Lahore Board. Despite minority students choosing ethics as a subject in the board examinations, they receive a roll number slip of Islamiat (optional) instead of ethics in the roll number slip. Later, on re-submitting the board fee of about four thousand rupees, a new roll number slip of ethics is issued, replacing Islamiat. Due to which students and parents have to bear the burden of mental anguish and additional expenses.
